After spending the entire day in the diamond district we came across Ephraim at Malidani Jewelry. He was fantastic to work with and we found the perfect stone. Then he went above and beyond to find the perfect setting that was exactly what my fiancé described. They literally made us the perfect ring in an about an hour and the price was fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough, and want to thank Dave and his colleagues for their fantastic guidance on picking the perfect engagement ring. I arrived in NYC to visit friends for a week on a mission to find a one of a kind engagement ring that fit my very particular vision after months of research. I thought I had found the perfect ring through a more niche type jeweler, but became dismayed by their 7 week production times and 6 week waits for showroom visits. Thankfully, my wise friends, convinced me that this was nonsense, and that we ought to head directly to the diamond district. We cleared our day. I had a highly specific vision in mind and a rather modest budget. I assumed we would visit at least half a dozen stores. However, Malidani would be my first and only stop. Dave provided top-notch customer service. He, as well as the overall ambiance of the store struck the rare combination of warmth, expertise, non-pushiness, and efficiency all at once. The ring, far more elegant, unique, and true to the spirit I sought to capture than the original "boutique" option, was ready in two days. Despite also having a higher grade diamond and metal, it was also less expensive, a great deal! Crafted from a vintage setting I chose from their extensive collection, and customized with new accent stones and new center diamond, my now fiancée was absolutely blown away. From the bottom of my heart, really, thank you so much for helping me find the perfect ring! I recommend this store to absolutely everyone.
